MACL takes on the Ancienne Mutuelle brand.
1968
The Guardian Royal Exchange Group (GRE) is formed through a merger of Guardian Assurance and Royal Exchange Assurance.
In the same year the Union des Assurances de Paris (UAP) is created.
1975
Claude Bébéar becomes chairman of the Ancienne Mutuelle.
1978
Ancienne Mutuelle changes its name to Mutuelles Unies.
