AXA Life and AXA Winterthur Wealth Management
Formed in 1997 after the merger of Sun Life Group and AXA Equity & Law‚ AXA Life has a high profile in the UK life, pensions and investments industry. Its remit covers group and personal pensions‚ life assurance‚ stakeholder pensions and protection as well as onshore and offshore investment bonds. AXA Life is based in Bristol and is also home for the innovative new wrap business platform, Elevate (www.elevateplatform.co.uk).
In 2006 AXA acquired Winterthur Wealth Management and in October 2008 created its new wealth business, AXA Winterthur Wealth Management is based in Basingstoke and offers products and investments aimed at high net worth clients (www.axawinterthur.co.uk).
In July 2008 AXA also created Architas, a new multi-manager company. Architas offers a new investment business centred on a distinct customer proposition and market leading multi-manager capability (www.architas-mm.com).
