AXA's commercial motor products can be applied to a broad spectrum of vehicle types, from cars used for business through to articulated lorries. AXA will quote on an extensive range of trades and industries including agriculture, building, motor, retail and wholesale, haulage and white collar trades.
There are 5 main groups of commercial motor insurance products:

Motor Trade Combined
Goods Carrying vehicles - this insurance is designed for vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of up to 3.5 tonnes, transporting your own goods. All drivers have to be over the age of 25.
Motor Fleets - a product that allows clients with more than four vehicles, irrespective of type (but excluding Special Types), who would like all their vehicles, insured under one policy.
Haulage vehicles - a product for Hauliers who operate up to five vehicles within the UK, where all drivers are over the age of 25 and have held LGV licences for more than two years. This product compliments our Goods in Transit and Hauliers Choice products.
Agricultural vehicles - this insurance is for vehicles used extensively for agricultural, horticultural or forestry purposes.
Miscellaneous and Special Types vehicles - this product is only available if AXA hold, or are asked to hold, all your other commercial vehicle insurances. It is designed for vehicles that are constructed to operate primarily as a tool of trade and not designed for the carriage of passengers.
Motor Trade Combined - an insurance package specifically designed for motor traders, providing the flexibility to build whatever level of protection is required by selecting the cover sections from a range of Property and Casualty insurances as well as providing the essential Road Risk cover.
