  • Wall cavity insulation - Up to a third of energy loss in an un-insulated home occurs through the walls; by filling the cavity walls with an insulating material you can repay your initial investment within 5 years.
  • Loft insulation - a house without loft insulation can lose as much as 15% of its heat through the roof. By installing loft insulation you could save around £110 per year, and repay your outlay in 2 years.
  • Double glazing - if you don't already have double glazed windows, it could reduce the heat lost through your windows by up to 50%.
  • Draft proofing - 20% of heat loss in a standard home occurs due to poor ventilation and drafts. Draft proofing can be easily done yourself using adhesive sealants from the local DIY store.
