Legal announcement
In September 2010 we confirmed that AXA UK had sold part of its life and pensions business to Friends Life, including its Corporate, IFA Protection and Traditional businesses. The agreement envisaged certain policy transfers and as a result we have applied to the High Court to approve the transfers of certain policies between Friends Life Company Limited, AXA Wealth Limited and Winterthur Life UK Limited under Part VII of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
On 14 September 2011 the English Court approved the reorganisation of our business.
