First aid kit

• Adhesive plasters
• Blanket
• Bandage material (5cm and 7.5cm wide)
• Cotton wool and lint
• Tweezers and scissors (half curved, blunt ended)
• Table salt for saline solution (add a tablespoon of salt to a pint of boiling water and let it cool down before use)
• Disinfectant
• Diarrhoea medication (but seek the vet's approval before use)
• Eyedroppers for dispensing liquid medication or for cleaning superficial wounds
• Activated charcoal (which can be found at any health food store) which is good against poisoning or diarrhoea and controls intestinal upsets.
• Tape for an emergency muzzle
• Towel
• Sock
