(26/08/2005) Major product additions to AXA Business Risk

AXA has announced today (Friday 26 August) that it has successfully launched the next critical stage in the development of its E-trading offering.

The functionality of the service available to brokers on AXA Business Risk has been dramatically increased with the addition of five new products:

  • Shops
  • Offices
  • Surgeries
  • Hotels
  • Restaurants, Wine Bars and Public Houses

All of these small business packages have been enhanced to include legal expenses cover, a no claims discount and an improved rating structure.

David Aiston, regional director north, AXA commented: "The feedback that we've received from our brokers indicates that there is a big demand for electronic access to our range of small business package policies, so we have delivered an enhanced product with an improved rating structure and additional product features.

"The launch of our small business package range on AXA Business Risk has given us a great opportunity to provide some real benefits to our brokers in respect of speed, efficiency and up to date products. It allows us to positively differentiate ourselves from our competitors and make an impact on our trading results."

Tim Ryan, managing director, Ryan Insurance Group comments: "Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of administering small business is a key issue for an insurance brokerage. With the support of ABR we have easy access to competitive premiums and supporting documentation that allows us to generate good revenues from these classes without compromising customer service or best advice."
