(25/08/2006) AXA appoints new marketing director to lead brand and communications in the UK
Olivier Mariée joins AXA UK on September 1st 2006 in the newly created role of group marketing director reporting directly to the chief executive of AXA UK, Nicolas Moreau. He also becomes a member of the AXA UK Executive Committee.
Olivier will lead the overall development and implementation of the UK’s marketing, customer care, brand and external communication strategies to ensure that AXA becomes the preferred company for its distributors and customers in the UK and in Ireland.
Before joining AXA UK he was senior vice president and head of customer care & distribution at AXA SA in France where he was responsible for developing global customer and partner satisfaction initiatives and building best practice programs on distribution and marketing.
Olivier joined the AXA Group in 1992 as a life insurance sales manager and in 1997 he created the private client management division of AXA Investment Managers. He joined AXA Life Japan in 1999, and after taking part in the integration of Nippon Dantai, he was responsible for customer relationship management (CRM) and customer service.
Nicolas Moreau, chief executive of AXA UK, said, “I am delighted to welcome Olivier to my senior team at AXA UK. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience and an excellent reputation as a customer care expert.
