(11/06/2007) AXA Insurance appoints Ian Johnson as Chief Operating Officer
AXA Insurance is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Johnson as Chief Operating Officer. Ian will be based in London and report to Peter Hubbard.
Ian joins from Group Audit Function in AXA Paris and in his new role will be responsible for developing, driving and influencing the strategic direction of the business.
Commenting on his appointment, Peter Hubbard, CEO of AXA Insurance, said; "I am delighted to welcome Ian to our UK business. He brings with him a wealth of relevant experience and is familiar with the strategic challenges facing insurance companies today. His broad experience will be very valuable in helping us to deliver on our growth goals set for 2012.
Ian will take up his new role on 11 June 2007.
