(06/11/2007) AXA APPOINTS NEW AREA SALES MANAGER
AXA has appointed Bob Wotherspoon as Area Sales Manager for the North, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Bob has 23 years experience in the industry and has been with AXA since April this year, until now as a Protection Account Manager.
The appointment is part of AXA’s plan to increase its protection sales team by half by the end of the year.
Bob’s role will include recruiting and managing Protection Account Managers across his region and raising the profile of the AXA Protection Account within the marketplace.
He said: "It is an exciting time at AXA and within the protection market in general and I am looking forward to the challenges ahead."
Previous to working for AXA, Bob worked at Friends Provident for 12 years.
