AXA names new regional managers for schemes push

AXA Insurance has appointed Michelle McTeer and Brendan Clark as North and South Regional Schemes managers respectively.

  • Michelle McTeer and Brendan Clark take up their new roles immediately
  • Michelle will be based in Leeds while Brendan will operate out of Reading, Ipswich and London
  • The appointments are part of AXA’s push into the schemes space

AXA Insurance has appointed Michelle McTeer and Brendan Clark as North and South Regional Schemes managers respectively.

Michelle, who will be based in AXA’s Leeds schemes hub, and Brendan, who will operate from the hubs in Reading, Ipswich and London, take up their newly-created positions with immediate effect. As part of their roles, Michelle and Brendan will be responsible for scheme growth and development.

Brendan joined AXA in January 2013 as Operations Manager for Reading and Maidstone and was most recently Schemes Development Manager for Reading and Maidstone. Michelle has been at AXA for more then a decade and was Operations Manager for the Leeds branch before taking up her new role.

The moves comes as part of AXA’s push into the schemes space, which also includes the creation of AXA Growth Labs, where brokers will be offered consultancy time with our in house agency Ignition to help them develop their ideas, as well as dedicated schemes teams who will be tasked with investigation potential leads.

The appointments are the first of a raft of new hires in the schemes team ,with further new arrivals set to be announced in due course.
