First Aid Kit Contents
- Adhesive plasters
- Blanket
- Bandage material (5cm and 7.5cm wide)
- Cotton wool and lint
- Tweezers and scissors (half curved, blunt ended)
- Table salt for saline solution (add a tablespoon of salt to a pint of boiling water and let it cool down before use)
- Disinfectant
- Diarrhoea medication (but seek the vet's approval before use)
- Eyedroppers for dispensing liquid medication or for cleaning superficial wounds
- Activated charcoal (which can be found at any health food store) which is good against poisoning or diarrhoea and controls intestinal upsets.
- Tape for an emergency muzzle
- Towel
- Sock
