What is an OEIC?

An OEIC (Open Ended Investment Company) is a type of investment product that offers indirect investment in securities and other assets. Your money is pooled with that of other investors who choose to invest in the same fund.

Funds will use this money to buy investment, such as stocks and shares, as selected by the Investment Adviser for the fund in line with the objectives of that fund. The value of your shares in the fund is directly related to the underlying value of these investments.

Its value can fall as well as rise & is not guaranteed which means you could get back less than you invest.

It should be considered as a medium (5-10 years) to long (over 10 years) term investment.
