AXA UK has appointed Lucinda Charles Jones as Group HR Director, effective from 1 August 2015. She joins from Towergate where she played an instrumental role as part of the senior management team leading the company. She has been appointed to the AXA UK Executive Committee, reporting into AXA UK and Ireland CEO, Paul Evans.

Lucinda has a wide range of senior level HR experience in many different industries and particular expertise in transformational change in dispersed and complex organisations.

At AXA she will be responsible for developing the HR strategy and people plans to support the organisation’s goals and to build the capability and culture for the future.

She will also be part of AXA’s Global HR leadership team contributing to Global HR initiatives.

I am delighted to be taking on this new challenge and joining the business at such an exciting time. Over the past few years, AXA’s business in the UK has been transformed into a profitable company with a progressive future. We have an ambitious strategy in place and I am looking forward to working with the business to develop the culture, skills and capabilities AXA will need to successfully achieve our ambitions for 2020 and beyond.
