Ursula Wyman joins AXA Commercial team

Ursula Wyman is appointed as Chief Operating Officer for the AXA Commercial business and will sit on the Commercial Executive Committee
Ursula will be responsible for leading the Operations functions including transformation and digital strategies

AXA UK has announced the appointment of Ursula Wyman as Chief Operating Officer for its Commercial business. Within this role, Ursula will be responsible for driving operational progress such as advancing the digital strategy as well as continuing to navigate operational requirements associated with COVID-19.

Joining AXA from outside of the insurance industry, Ursula brings with her over 20 years of experience in telecoms, travel and financial services. Most recently, Ursula led the global group delivery function at IQ-EQ, an investor services group, leading the Shared Services function and driving operational transformation. Prior to this, Ursula held various roles within Expedia Group, directing the global operations teams, developing new support products and taking charge of strategic growth and transformation programmes.

Ursula joined the business on 15 November 2021, and reports into Jon Walker, Chief Executive Officer, AXA Commercial. She will also join the Commercial Executive Committee. She succeeds Tim Yorke who will be leaving the business at the end of the month.
