- Amanda Vaughan joins as Chief People Officer while Louise Isaacs takes the role of Chief Customer & Communications Officer
AXA UK & Ireland has announced two new senior appointments. Amanda Vaughan joins as Chief People Officer while Louise Isaacs takes the role of Chief Customer & Communications Officer, where she will look after Customer, Communications, Brand and Sustainability. Both appointments will be members of AXA UK & Ireland’s Management Committee, reporting to Tara Foley, CEO of AXA UK & Ireland.
Louise joined the insurer in July and Amanda took up her role mid-August, returning to AXA where she previously worked for almost 12 years in senior HR roles including Chief People Officer at AXA Partners and Chief Talent & Learning Officer at AXA Group.
Most recently, Amanda held the position Group General Manager, Culture Capability & Talent, at Westpac Bank in Australia. She is focused on equipping people with the skills and capabilities needed for today and the future, driving culture change and talent development, with a particular focus on leadership.
Amanda replaces Suzanne Scott, who is leaving the business after 10 years.
Louise brings over 20 years’ international experience in marketing & communications and customer strategy across B2C and B2B including senior roles at Barclays, Cigna and American Express. She is relentless in her focus on the customer and has a passion for helping organisations put customers at the centre of everything they do.
I am thrilled to welcome two new appointments to my senior leadership team and I’m sure their knowledge and experience will bring fresh insights and energy.
In returning to AXA, Amanda’s understanding of our company culture will be invaluable and her expertise in leadership development and equipping people with skills for the future will be a real asset.
Louise’s drive to deliver for customers is central to who we are at AXA UK & Ireland. She will be instrumental in shaping how we bring this focus to life through our customer and communications teams, and in influencing the organisation more widely to create meaningful impact for our customers.
I’d also like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Suzanne for her contribution over the past decade. Her commitment to fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace has truly shaped who we are today.

Returning to AXA feels like coming home. The values and culture here are truly inspiring, and I'm excited to help shape a workforce ready for the future - one that's equipped with the skills and capabilities to thrive. I look forward to working with our talented teams as we embark on this exciting new chapter together.

I am delighted to have joined AXA UK - a company I have long admired. I am really excited about contributing to the future success of the organisation by shaping how we connect with our customers and stakeholders, enhancing our brand and reputation, and supporting the delivery of our strategic priorities.
