(08/06/2005) AXA Protection Account goes live on Webline

AXA's Protection Account has gone live on Webline, giving AXA's launch partners wider access to one of the most extensive menu-based products on the market.

Webline offer a range of web-based quotation and fulfilment services where advisers are able to obtain single or comparative quotes, fill in pre-populated application forms, and submit new business online.

After selecting AXA through Webline, advisers can either use the portal to process a single application or go directly to AXA's own electronic new business site.

Iain Mallon, head of AXA Protection, said: "We are delighted to be launching on Webline as we build towards becoming available to the whole of the market by the end of 2005. This is an important milestone that will bring the Protection Account more readily in front of a greater number of advisers."

Matt Humphrey, client & operations director at Webline said: "We are very pleased to have worked closely with AXA to rapidly deploy their Protection Account onto Webline in a timely manner. The addition of AXA to the Webline platform is another example of Webline's continued expansion of Providers and Product ranges in order to continue providing a comprehensive service."

AXA's Protection Account is now available through a range of partners including Bankhall, Britannia Building Society, Lifesearch, Millfield, Tenet and Sesame. The Protection Account will in due course be made available to all Webline users as part of AXA's rollout through to the end of 2005.
