Apple Wallet is an application that allows you to store and access things like boarding passes, tickets, and reward cards, in a single touch. It's a secure way to access your information on your phone.
The AXA Car Insurance Pass is a digital snap shot of your policy details that you can store in your Apple Wallet and access on your iPhone. You'll get access to your basic policy details, and online account, at the touch of a button. We hope it never happens, but if you do have an accident, or need to make a claim, you'll have everything you need to put things right. Please note the pass is for information purposes and does not substitute your Certificate as proof of insurance.
It's quick and easy to add the AXA Car Insurance Pass to your iPhone
Log into your AXA online account from your iPhone
Scroll down to find the Apple Wallet icon
Tap on the icon and the download will begin
A pop up of the pass will then appear on your screen
Tap 'Add'
Go to the Apple Wallet app icon on your iPhone and your pass will be ready for you to view in there
You can access your pass via the Apple Wallet app on your iPhone. Tap the pass to display the front of the pass. You'll see an i icon on the bottom right hand corner of the pass. Tap this to turn to the other side of the pass and see the rest of the information.
Your pass has two sides of information. The front of the pass displays a quick reference to your policy details. The back of the pass displays useful information and advice on what to do in the unfortunate event of an accident, or having to make a claim, such as phone numbers and helpful links.
Each vehicle has its own policy and pass. In your online account, different tabs will separate these and you'll be able to download separate passes within each side of the tabs.
No, it won't update automatically. You'll need to reload your pass with your most up to date information and then download to your Apple Wallet again. This will replace the old information on your pass. You can do this via your online account.
You will no longer have access to your online account at this stage. You'll need to manually delete the pass from your Apple Wallet on your iPhone. Your policy details will no longer be valid. To do this :
Go to the Apple Wallet app icon on your iPhone
Find the AXA Car Insurance pass and tap it to open
Tap on the i icon on the bottom right hand corner
Tap on delete
You'll still need to make contact with our claims team as normal via the telephone but you'll easily find contact details for claims on your pass making contact just a dial away.

Only compatible with iPhone IOS 6 and above (not currently available for iPad and Apple Watch).
Your AXA Car Insurance Pass is for information purposes and does not act as proof of cover or as a substitute for a Certificate of insurance. Your Certificate can be downloaded from your online account.
The AXA Car Insurance Pass will not update automatically when your policy is renewed, of if changes are made. In these circumstances you will need to reload an updated pass from your online account and download to the Apple Wallet.
Once the pass has been downloaded to your iPhone from the secure AXA online account, AXA has no responsibility for the security of your data.
