AXA has today announced that, with immediate effect, it will be publishing statistics which confirm a high proportion of claims are paid for all its motor, home and travel customers. Similar information is already provided for its healthcare business. The statistics will be supported by information to help customers better understand the cover provided and how to avoid having claims rejected.
AXA appoints Lucinda Charles Jones as Group HR Director

AXA UK has appointed Lucinda Charles Jones as Group HR Director, effective from 1 August 2015. She joins from Towergate where she had played an instrumental role as part of the senior management team leading the company. She has been appointed to the AXA UK Executive Committee, reporting into AXA UK and Ireland CEO, Paul Evans.

Each year, AXA Business Insurance, one of the UK’s largest business insurers, conducts a nationwide survey of SMEs looking at how they feel about the current state of their business, the potential for growth and other factors affecting their business. This year’s Index shows that, while the overall levels of optimism remain healthy at more than 80 per cent, nearly one in ten fewer SMEs expect growth than a year ago.
