AXA Insurance’s three peak challenge

Seven of AXA Insurance's PLI team took to the mountains to complete a three peak challenge raising £4,000 for Help the Heroes.

It took just over 24 hours for the team to travel across three countries to complete the challenge which consisted of Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (England) and Snowdon (Wales).

The team, including Lucy Norris, Selim Cavanagh, Karen Hogg, Colin Butler, Christina Stephenson, Neil Mercier and David Priest, battled against the rain, wind and tears to raise money for Help the Heroes - providing support for the wounded members of the armed forces.

AXA's underwriting director for personal lines intermediary, Neil Mercier, said: “We are delighted that we completed the three peak challenge and were able to raise money for Help the Heroes. AXA is committed to investing and supporting its local community which was demonstrated through the amount of support we received, keeping us going during the challenges we faced as we reached the dizzy heights of each mountain.”
