Martin is highly regarded by the industry. During his years at Insurance Age, he established a reputation for straight talking. It's a quality that I admire and one that I want to ensure runs through all our communications with brokers whether in the press, on our website or on Twitter. I want Martin to innovate our media strategy and the way we engage with our customers. Social media is becoming all pervasive and I want AXA Commercial Lines to be leading the industry in the way we use it to communicate better our commercial messages.

As we work hard to deliver on our business promises, it is essential that our messaging is loud, clear and consistent. I have seen our industry embracing new media and my job will be to use this experience to guide and advise on the fast moving world of social media.
