Locks on windows and doors

Approved locks on all windows and doors can improve your home's security. In some cases having the right locks on your doors and windows can reduce your premium, in other cases it may be a necessity. In 2003 Cilla Black had her claim for her stolen jewellery turned down by her insurance company. She had claimed that she had locks on the ground floor windows, but this was not the case, so her case was rejected.
