- A new Defaqto 3 Star rated motor insurance product has been launched to provide more choice for AXA customers
- It will deliver lower cost premiums for motorists who require a policy with fewer add-ons
- Enhancement also made to existing Defaqto 5 Star product
AXA UK has announced the launch of a new lower premium motor insurance product, available this month.
The Defaqto 3 Star rated product provides motorists with greater choice to meet their driving needs and is suited for those who require a different level of cover to AXA’s current Defaqto 5 Star rated policy. Many drivers have changed their driving habits as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, with fewer people driving to work and a reduction in miles being driven overall. The introduction of the new policy aims to meet these changing needs at a reduced cost.
The new product will initially launch to customers via Confused.com and MoneySuperMarket in February.
AXA UK’s existing Defaqto 5 Star rated product - now called AXA Plus Car Insurance – has also been enhanced with £1,500 cover for personal belongings, up from £300.
We always want to provide our customers with more choice to suit their individual circumstances and hope that this new product will appeal to those who are looking to benefit from an AXA motor policy at a reduced cost.
The new offering will continue to provide some of those things that really matter to our customers, such as child car seat cover and 90-day European cover, as well as the option to upgrade to include a courtesy car. Added to this, we’ve also enhanced our existing motor product to give our customers even more value.
