Gwenaël joined AXA UK as Chief Operating Officer in March 2024.
Gwenaël joined the AXA family eight years ago, starting at AXA GO as Director of Product Management, and then moving into a number of technology leadership roles within AXA France. These roles include Head of Digital Workplace, then CIO for L&S, P&C and Distribution, and finally Chief Digital Officer (CDO). As the UK&I Chief Operating Officer, Gwenaël leads on IT, Data, Cyber Security and Operational Resilience.
Before joining AXA, Gwenaël worked for several tech companies including Microsoft where he held the position of Director for the Microsoft Office Division, French market for ten years. Gwenaël’s hobbies include a love of reading, watching movies, but also watching and participating in sports, with a particular interest in jogging.
